Seventh Annual Teachers' Academy for Life-Long Learning:
June 23-27, 2008
This workshop targets Pre-K through 12th grade teachers and higher education faculty and staff, counselors, administrators, and future teachers. Each day of the workshop has been filled with presenters who have various backgrounds and experiences working with the Arts (dance, theatre, music, and art) and incorporating them into the curriculum. Friday will be spent with participants sharing ways to effectively use the information in their respective schools and/or classrooms. The week-long workshop is appropriate for both classroom teachers and teachers of the Arts.
Participants have the option of earning two hours of graduate credit through the SIUC College of Education and Human Services or 25 Continuing Professional Units (CPDUs) through the Illinois State Board of Education.
