
Children of Chaos: The Effects of Substance Abuse

This unique training will explore the impact of substance abuse and domestic violence on children. Learn the dangers, how to recognize the signs and symptoms, and how to respond to even the youngest victims. Nationwide, an estimated ten million children live in homes where the primary caretaker is using alcohol or some other drug. Experts estimate that as many as 3.3 million children each year witness violent acts in their home. Every child deserves a safe and loving home. Learn what you can do to help make a difference in the life of a child. 3.5 IAODAPCA Credits may be earned by attending this workshop.
