Girls Basketball Position Camp
June 4 - 5, 2008

This camp will allow each camper to focus on her position with intense individual instruction. Guards will specialize in defensive and offensive concepts for the perimeter player with a special emphasis on ball-handling and passing skills, shooting and footwork, ways to get open, one on one moves and reading screens. Post players will learn offensive and defensive concepts for the inside player. Special focus will be placed on developing offensive moves with back to the basket and high post moves, posting up, footwork, rebounding, setting and using screens and other aspects of playing in the paint. Open to grades 9 and up as of fall 2008.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: ALL requests for refunds must be submitted in writing. Your camp cost, less a $15 cancellation fee will be refunded if you cancel at least 7 business days prior to the camp. At any time after that date, refunds (less the $15 non-refundable fee) are made for medical reasons only and all such requests must have a signed statement from your physician. If a medical cancellation request is not received by the last day of instruction, a refund is not issued. Refunds are not given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons.

Roommates: All room assignments are made at check-in. If you would like a special roommate, please attend check-in at the same time.

Discounts: Due to NCAA regulations, discounts are not available unless specified by the specific camp. Discounts beyond those specified (if any) are not provided. Camps are not pro-rated.

Program Requirement: The Athletic Medical/Photo Release Form must be submitted to the Division of Continuing Education prior to a camp in order for your child to attend.
