Boys' Basketball Saluki Development Camp
June 6-7, 2008

With the up-tempo style that is played today, more players are relying on their athletic ability and less on fundamentals. This camp is designed to focus on improving offensive skills such as passing, ball handling, and shooting. The emphasis of this camp is to improve individual one-on-one skills, but also includes games and contests.

New this year will be a defensive section of camp. Campers will learn the basic nuances of team and 1 on 1 defense. Open to grades 6-12.

Program Date: June 6-7, 2008

Program Times:

• Check-in: Friday, Noon - 1 p.m.
• Camp Schedule: Friday, 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
• Saturday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Program Location: SIU Arena - Carbondale, IL

Fees:

• Commuter: $145
• Overnight: $180
  Check-in at the front of the SIU Arena from noon-1 p.m. on June 6. You may park in Lot 56, south of the Arena where no permit is required. Resident Campers will go to Brush Towers for room assignments after check-in at the Arena. Lunch will not be provided on Friday.

Program Requirement: The Athletic Medical/Photo Release Form must be submitted to the Division of Continuing Education prior to a camp in order for your child to attend.
